Barbara Kline is presenting “Is It a Job or a Business?”
Many small business owners treat their business like a job – focusing on the income they can earn today at the cost of working on the business to build value. Less than one business in four is actually sold, and less than 1/3 of the business owners who invest in a financial planner take the time to create an exit plan. Whether you are a consultant to small businesses, a small business owner yourself, or a prospective business owner/entrepreneur, why let all the hard effort of working in a business every day go to waste?
Barbara Kline is a Certified Business Broker and commercial real estate broker with Absolute Investment Realty. She is also an angel investor and an entrepreneur with more than 6 businesses under her belt.
The goal of the TAN Education Meeting is your opportunity to learn leading business practices from the other members of our group, immediately followed by a networking opportunity. This takes about 2.5 hours from start to finish (shorter than a regular TAN meeting plus a 4×4). You’re getting an educational TAN meeting and a networking opportunity all rolled into one block of time. We’ll meet the first Thursday of each month at REDW, alternating early dinner and lunch meeting times. One month is the 3:30-6:00pm early dinner meeting. The next month is the 11:30am-2pm lunch meeting slot. We’ll have a different speaker each month.
